"My toddler won't eat anything!"

  • Never force your toddler to eat. They need different amounts of food each day.
  • Offer your toddler the same foods you are eating.
  • Keep your eyes on your kids—they can choke on small pieces of food such as hot dogs, nuts, popcorn, grapes, apples, baby carrots, and chunks of meat.
  • Be patient as your toddlers try new foods. It takes time to get used to new tastes, smells, and consistencies.
  • Sometimes a kid needs to see a food 10-15 times before they will start to like it.
