  • Provide a variety of healthy foods and let your child choose what to eat.
  • Encourage them to pack their own lunch or snack to bring to school.
  • Make sure fruits and veggies are washed, cut, and ready to eat when your kids are hungry.
  • Eat healthy foods yourself so your child has a positive role model.
  • Ask your teenager to help grocery shop and prepare meals. They are more likely to eat something that they helped make.
Try This

Have your kids add at least three fruits and vegetables to your shopping list this week.
