Change your routine to reduce your stress.

First, know you are not alone! With the global pandemic, so many people are feeling stressed and worries most of the time. With that in mind, there are some positive steps you can take to try and reduce your anxiety.

  • Exercise for 30 minutes a day to helps to reduce stress.  Walking, stretching, cooking, cleaning, yoga, or just going outside can help.
  • Share your worries with friends you trust.
  • Make a few minutes each day for quiet.
  • Listen to music, particularly songs that encourage and/or calm you.
  • Try some breathing techniques to help you relax your body.
  • Getting enough sleep each night reduces stress.
  • Seek professional help. Even in areas that are shut down to the pandemic, therapists and doctors are available via tele-health (remote) visits.
  • Make a grocery list and meal plan each week. There will be one less chore to worry about.
