Avocado Salsa

This spicy, creamy salsa has the perfect texture and is great paired with your favorite green salad, baked corn chips, or seafood.

What you'll need

Sharp knife
Cutting board
Measuring cups
Blender
Serving bowl
Spatula or spoon

Ingredients

Serves 6
6 Avocados peeled and cored, save pits
2 Tomatillos husks removed, washed
1 Serrano Chile Pepper seeded or 1 Jalapeño Pepper seeded
1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro cut and discard bottom 2 inches of stems
1/2 clove Garlic
1/4 cup Onion
1/2 cup Water
1/2 Lemon juiced, adjust to taste or 1/2 Lime juiced, adjust to taste
1/4 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste

Directions

1.In a blender: add all the ingredients.
2.Mix well, until desired consistency is reached.
3.Pour into a serving bowl and add pits (will help keep it from turning color).
4.Serve as is or chill before serving.
