Salad dressing makes a good marinade for meat and vegetables, too.

What you'll need

Jar with tight-fitting lid
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons

Ingredients

Serves 6
3 tablespoons Olive Oil
1/4 cup Orange Juice fresh
1/4 cup Rice Vinegar
of Salt to taste
of Black Pepper to taste
1 tablespoon Ground Chili Powder or of Cumin

Directions

1.Put all ingredients in a jar with a lid. Close tightly.
2.Shake well.

Chef's Tips

  • The basic formula for salad dressing is oil plus an acid like vinegar or lemon juice. Add dry seasonings, mustard, or honey before mixing.
