What you'll need
Cutting board
Sharp knife
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
Can opener
Small bowl
Medium bowl
Whisk or fork
Spatula or spoon
Slow cooker or stove pot
Ingredients
1 pound Ground Turkey or 1 pound Ground Beef or 1 pound Ground Chicken
2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning or dried oregano or dried basil or 2 teaspoons Dried Oregano or 2 teaspoons Dried Basil
28 ounces Tomatoes low-sodium, crushed
Directions
1.Mix first 7 ingredients in a bowl until combined. Form into 12 meatballs.
2.Pour tomatoes into slow cooker or stovetop pot and place meatballs into the mixture. Cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours in slow cooker or 18-22 minutes in pot on stovetop.
Storage Tips
- Leftover meatballs store well in the freezer. Add chopped spinach or other veggies to the sauce for an added boost.
