Hi there and thank you for your question!
There are no vegetables and fruits that are 'best' on their own. I believe it is best to eat a colorful variety of fruit and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables come in many colors – red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and white - and each color provides different vitamins, minerals and other nutrient that are important for our health. For example, some yellow and green fruits like lemons and kiwis are a good source of vitamin C, which plays an important role in our immune system (1). Some orange vegetables like sweet potatoes and carrots are a good source of vitamin A, which supports healthy vision (2).

Hope this helps!
