This recipe uses avocado to make a creamy, healthy dressing that tastes great.
What you'll need
Large bowl
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
Blender
Cutting board
Sharp knife
Spatula or spoon
Ingredients
8 cups Romaine Lettuce shredded
1/2 cup Cucumber peeled and chopped
1/2 cup Jicama peeled and chopped
1/2 cup Peas thawed if frozen
1/4 cup Red Onion finely chopped
1 Avocado peeled and pitted
Directions
1.Toss lettuce, cucumber, jicama, peas, and onion together in a large bowl.
2.In a blender container, add avocado, orange and lime juices, and garlic salt; cover with a tight fitting lid, and blend until smooth.
3.Add dressing to salad and toss well to coat. Serve immediately.
Chef's Tips
- Blend ¼ cup fresh cilantro leaves with dressing for extra flavor.
