Couscous cooks quickly, so it makes a quick and satisfying breakfast.

What you'll need

Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
skillet or saucepan or microwave-safe bowl/cup
Bowl
Plastic wrap
Spoon

Ingredients

Serves 1
3/4 cup Milk low-fat
1/4 cup Couscous
2 tablespoons Raisins or 2 tablespoons Dried Fruit
2 tablespoons Nuts chopped, (optional)
of Honey to taste, (optional)

Directions

1.

Step 1 picture

Use a microwave, skillet, or saucepan to heat the milk for about 2 minutes or until very, very hot. Place couscous and fruit (if using) in bowl or mug. Pour the hot milk over the couscous.

Step 2 picture

Cover and allow to sit for 5–10 minutes or until milk is absorbed.
