This salad is fresh and festive. Use jarred cactus if you can’t find fresh.

Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
Cutting board
Sharp knife
Medium bowl
Spatula or spoon

Ingredients

Serves 4
4 cups Cabbage Green, shredded
2 Nopales (cactus Leaves) Fresh, cleaned and finely chopped
4 slices Onion White, thinly sliced
4 Radishes thinly sliced
1 Tomato Large, chopped
1 Serrano Chile Pepper seeds removed and finely chopped
2 tablespoons Vinegar apple cider
1 teaspoon Oil
1 teaspoon Sugar

Directions

1.

Mix cabbage, cactus, onion, radishes, tomato, and serrano chili in a medium bowl. Place salad on 4 separate plates.

2.Stir together vinegar, oil, and sugar; drizzle over salad. Serve immediately.
