If I make a fiber-dense smoothie (chia seeds, bananas , berries) should I bother complimenting it with something to eat or is one serving a complete breakfast?

That is entirely up to you! Your smoothie sounds delicious and great to enjoy on its own or paired with something to eat. I suggest to be mindful of how it makes you feel when you have it either way. If you choose to just have the smoothie for breakfast but feel hungry shortly after, then try pairing it with something to eat the next day. If you found having a smoothie with something to eat makes you feel satisfied and energized until your next meal, then that may be the breakfast that works for you.
