Whole Wheat Pasta with Lemon
Try this refreshing pasta dish to incorporate more whole grains into your diet.
What You'll Need
- Measuring cup
- Cutting board
- Large pot with lid
- Vegetable peeler or zester (if using lemon zest)
- Small bowl
- Small whisk or fork
- Boil pasta with salt according to package directions
- Zest the lemon (optional) before juicing. In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, olive oil, grated parmesan (optional), chopped basil (optional) and lemon zest (optional) with small whisk or fork.
- Toss lemon mixture with pasta.
Use brown rice or quinoa pasta, if there are any gluten allergies.
