Slow Cooker Polenta
This polenta side is easy and goes great with chicken or a salad.
What You'll Need
- Measuring cup
- Measuring spoon
- Slow cooker
- Large spoon
Grease the bottom and sides of the slow cooker with oil or butter.
Whisk the cornmeal (or polenta), water and salt together in the slow cooker. Cook on low for 4-5 hours, stir one time half-way through.
Be creative and add some ﬂavor. For example, stir in a spoonful of canned pumpkin before cooking, or top with parmesan cheese after it’s finished.
Cut this recipe in half to save money.
