Help your older kids make healthy choices.

"My kids eat what they want. I can't control them."

Help your older kids make healthy choices.
  • Provide a variety of healthy foods and let your child choose what to eat.
  • Encourage them to pack their own lunch or snack to bring to school.
  • Make sure fruits and veggies are washed, cut, and ready to eat when your kids are hungry.
  • Eat healthy foods yourself so your child has a positive role model.
  • Ask your teenager to help grocery shop and prepare meals. They are more likely to eat something that they helped make.
